Partial SSL implementation solution

I am using VS 2008 and creating a Web project to run on Win Server 2008 with IIS 7. I spent some time looking for a complete description of an easy way to implement partial SSL. That is, I want some of my web pages to use SSL but not others. I pieced together the following solution after a couple hours of reading. Please comment on the pitfalls/disadvantages. Thanks.The scenario:The start up page will not use SSL, nor will the Help pages. I am assuming my users will not be sophisticated enough to properly acknowledge IE7 security warnings. So a non SSL Help page is essential.
