Couple years ago I made a website in ASP.NET v1.1 and now would like to convert it into v3.5 in order to add new features.
My question is what should I do about my old forms authorisation with roles so that it would not cost me too much pain. In particular, I do not want to use the built-in functionality of v3.5 and set up a new database. Can I keep my old database/structure untouched? Many thanks to everyone who would help.
