Hi, I have an asp.net web page. I want certain operations to start when the page is loaded for the first time. These operations should also continue to happen after an elapsed period of time. For example, I may want a postback to occur automatically periodically where after each postback some content in certain areas of the web page is re-freshed with new data.
How can one use timer controls or threads or any other procedure to accomplish the above in the best possible manner?
