Sorry if this is a silly question or in the wrong place but i hope someone can advise: I am a competent .net developer but have only ever worked on intranet systems within the MOD. A friend has asked me if i want to earn a bit of extra cash by developing a simple website for them with a forum facility.
I could always use some extra cash so agreed, thinking that it cant be too different from what i do now. BUt then when i started looking into it and thinking more carefully about HOW i actually go about this I started to panic. Ive never had to deal with browser compatability and SEO issues! How do i "hand over" control of the site to my friend so they can write their own content? Where the hell do I start??
