My current app is a Windows Forms based N-Tier app that I'm now attempting to introduce an additional presentation tier for web front-end. So, with that in mind I need a bit of help understanding and actually getting my controls (texboxes) bound to my business objects (if that is even possible). My current app binds the controls right to each Public property in corresponding business entities --- so, that is how I currently view or understand databound conrtols.
So here I am jumping into asp dev and currently have a webservice that the asp page calls, returns the entities via a Public WebMethod that envokes the businessEntity (also: the businessEntity hydrates itself by calling it's corresponding component in a DAL).
ASP.NET Page --> Webservice --> BusinessEntity --> DAL
