Hello,
I am facing a strange issue. I am unable to connect to SQL Server R2 Express edition instance remotely from other computer. It gives me network or instance specific error. and Instance may not allowed remote connection.
However on same machine my sql server r2 standard edition works perfectly remotely. My firewall is off on both the machines. Can anyone tell me where the problem is. following is my enviorment details.
Both computers are on domain network
Both windows 7 x64 Ultimate N
Both have SQL Server R2 Express edition
On Sql instance allow remote coonection is enabled on both systems.
Any help will be appreciated.
