clear web form

hi,

i have a web form which has various controls like text box, drop down list.

now i want to provide a button(Clear) for user, when he clicks that, i want to clear all the controls.

i.e i want to clear the textbox.

and i want the drop down list selectedindex = 0.

since i am just clearing the controls when i click the button i want to do it client side using java script.

can any one help me how to clear text box and how should i make the ddl selectedindex = 0;

i am binding the dropdownlist from xml file.
