I am trying to build a web application where certain controls present on the page depend on a configuration xml file. Basically, I want to create components dynamically.
I am able to create components and add them to a page. However, if the page updates (because some event occurred) then I lose th controls. the way I have it set up is that it will recreate them whenever the page loads, so they're always there. The problem, is that some events come from those components and I need to know what state their in (for example if a checkbox is checked or not), but since they 'disappear' and are recreated whenever the page reloads, I end up losing this value).
I hope this was clear enough for someone to help me. Any ideas would be great. thanks!
