I have a window with a gridview, and open a popup window (child.aspx) to do midification on gridview's data, then save modification, close child window, refresh the gridview.
Right now, I can do this by refresh the whole parent window. But I just want to refresh the gridview, since it looks better.
on the parent window, I put a updatePanel outside the gridView, and use a "Refresh" button to let user refresh the gridview.
I tired some javaScript to raise the Refresh.click() from the child window, but failed. Here are some script I've tried:
