Problem with Data List Control

Hi All,
I am using a Data list control in a web app which is filled with details of products something like this
cmd.Connection = con;
cmd.CommandText = "Select * from ProductDetails";
da = new SqlDataAdapter(cmd.CommandText, con);
da.Fill(ds, "prodetails");
dt = ds.Tables["prodetails"];
dt = obj.GetBrand(Brand);
dlProductList.DataSource = dt.DefaultView;
dlProductList.DataBind();
In a button click event I have assigned few filtration values, based on which the products get filtered. Till this point, things work fine, i mean the first time when page gets loaded with the default value and the next time when the page get filtered values.
In the default values get loaded, clicking on the items give the product info. However, when the filtered values are loaded, and items or product are clicked to check for product info, the info of the product in question is not getting executed. Rather it takes the same product info as ...
