I'm developing an ASP.NET web application driven by VB.NET server side code.
I've developed a custom principal to handle my login authentication and authorization.
I am getting the following SerializationException error message:
"System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationException: Type is not resolved for member 'MyPrincipal,App_Code....'"
I've attempted debugging the problem and it occurs after the authentication has occurred and when the information is being retrieved from the authentication cookie when the page has been redirected.
(In other words, I'm able to authenticate a user and create an authentication cookie and redirect the user to the website...but when the user is redirected the and the authentication cookie's contents are being checked by my principal this exception is thrown)
