Cannot get a basic REST service to work with IIS (xp, iis6)

I create a web project Create a entity model with northwind Create ADO NET data service. I run and I see IIS specified authentication schemes 'IntegratedWindowsAuthentication, Anonymous', but the binding only supports specification of exactly one authentication scheme. Valid authentication schemes are Digest, Negotiate, NTLM, Basic, or Anonymous. Change the IIS settings so that only a single authentication scheme is used. So I follow the instructions and disable one of them. But now when I say http://localhost/WebApplication1/WebDataService1.svc/products It gives me a generic error.... Anyone can help?
