In an ASP.NET 3.5 / VS 2008 app, I have defined a base user control (baseUC) with a single label on top (lblStatus).
When I create any other user controls, I inherit from baseUC but do not see the label. (CodeFileBaseClass = baseUC).
References to the label compile fine in the inherited user control, but error out during run time with null reference errors.
Is there a specific way to inherit user controls so that the GUI objects are also inherited?
