I want to know if there is a way I can detect a song currently playing on computer. Is this possible to do through a web site ? Since there are some machine level dependencies, I am wondering if its possible to do with Silverlight? I cant think of a way this would work with ASP.NET.
I want to mimic the behavior of MSN messenger, which updates the status with the current song playing on the computer. I want to do this in a web application.
If ASP.NET+Silverlight does not work, is there ANY other way this might be possible?
