How do you stop a postback in a javascript image. On my messge application form (this is not email) I have two input images one for high priority and one for low priority when I click either one of them I get a postback...I don't want a postback, but I need to run the function.  Please see code.
Questions:
1. Why do I get a postback everything Javascript or HTML?
2. I get no error how can test to see if this code is working?
3. Is this the best way to check which image was clicked?
function Priority(){ var hiPri = document.getElementById("SendHi"); var loPri = document.getElementByID("Sendlo"); var hdn = document.getElementByID("Hidden1"); var noPri; if (hiPri.click()) hdn.value = "h"; if (loPri.click()) hdn.value = "l"; if (noPri.click()) hdn.value = " "; }
