Can any one let me know what is the difference between setting authentication mode to windows in the web.config and doing the same from the IIS by right clicking the virtual directory and stting the "Integrated windows authentication" to true.
My next question would be that what happens if we set the annonymus access to true from the IIS on a virtual directory to true?
What would happen if I set the authentication mode to 'none' in web.config and check the ''Integrated windows authentication" to true in IIS on a virtual directory?
