Hello, I want to create a basic website which will allow people to register for the site. And then have the capability to login to the site using their username and password.
So my question today is about the login functionaliy of the site, where a username and password are entered to gain access to the site. Is their a best way to go about doing this? Perhaps someone can recommend a good article. basically I just want the code to be very simple so that it won't have to be rewritten a year or two from now. I figure I can use sql server using forms authentication. I did this several years ago. However I read recently that that it is required to enable anonymous access in IIS7 together with form authentication to make it work. I host wit GoDaddy.com, so I don't even know if they could enable anonymous access?
