use ajax while binding data to grid view

Hi,

i am binding data to grid view using dataset.. i set page size to 10 rows.. if there is large data then i want to bind the data to first page only and when user click to display second page at that time want to fetch data and bing it to grid to improve performance  (caching concept is used in this ) .. please anyone tell me how to do this using AJAX ?? ....
