Hi Folks,

I have used the filtering controls but was hoping I could get some insight into a problem.

I have a table that is going to be tracking "Goals". These goals are assigned by user, month, year, and target. These rows will be added by an administrator/manager through several dropdownlists in a gridview (3 gridview, username, month, target, and a textbox for target), but I do not want duplicate rows... In other words, when a target has been set for January 2008, and we want to add another target (row), internally filter the dropdown list to show only Feb-Dec months when 2008 is selected for the respective user.

ie: Columns: username, month, year, target --> John Doe, January, 2008, $2000

I have a table that I created that stores just the months of the year to simplify things, but I am still having trouble executing the filtering process.

My query would be something as follows. SELECT Month from Months WHERE Mo ...

Go to the complete details ...
