I am using the Membership and Role management features with the standard SQL Server data store. I have been creating users through the login controls and they have been getting added to the data store correctly and the user has been able to login through the frontend and access the application without issue.
However users have been complaining that they cannot log in with the account details they have created.
When I do Select * from dbo.aspnet_Membership I am seeing all the user accounts I have created. But when I open the Web Site Administration Tool I am only seeing 2 user accounts. These are accounts which I have just created.
Similarily in the application if I go Membership.GetAllUsers.Count I only get 2 accounts.
Is it possible that the accounts are expiring or being made inactive for some reason? Or is there some other reason why not all the records in aspnet_Membership are accessible through the frontend?
