Data String Transfer Problem

I have a somewhat complex situation. I am passing a data string from a Flash Movie via a JavaScript function using Ajax to an ASP.NET web service and then to an SQL Server 2005 database table row. The column for this data is defined as NVARCHAR(MAX). I am losing some special characters passed from Flash to the JavaScript function when I use single quotes on the string (example ââ?¬â?? foo(arg1, arg2, ââ?¬Ë?stringââ?¬â?¢)). If I try to eliminate the single quotes, I get unstable results most of the time nothing reaches ...
