about text box and stored procedure

from your video of stored procedure in sql i got a lot of things but now a problem has arisen that i use the procedure with textbox in asp.net to insert values

into database when i pass integer values they come ok but when i pass string , char, varchar, nchar or nvarchar the stores only the first letter and trim the rest.pleas guide me about this.
