I'm trying to find the cookie that I'm creating in a custom authentication ticket just to make sure it's encrypted, but I can't seem to find the file. Does the ticket exist as a file, or only in memory? Even when I attempt to create a persistent cookie I can't find it!
Here's what I'm using for my formsauthentication setup in my webconfig....

I've look in both Documents and Settings\[USER]\Cookies and Documents and Settings\[USER]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
