If I have an <asp:DropDownList> on a form and there are business rules that may or may not make it disabled,
how do I ensure that whatever it was set to before it became disabled is available in the postback?
I am aware of the textbox.attributes.add(readonly, readonly)
but as that doesn't exist for the dropdownlist, what is available?
