Hi all,
I am trying to query a MySql database for a UserID based on the UserName of the person who is currently logged in.
I created a profile variable for the UserName and can pass it ok to the query. What I can't figure out (or find how to do) is how I can store query's result as a variable or something else I can reference in code.
The variable will not change once it is set, I just need it to reference in other INSERT statements. For example, as an audit trail on who created a report.
I am working in the code-behind for a VB webpage.
All suggestions are welcome.
