My site uses windows authentication, and I need a page where users can change their own passwords. So I created a simple and put a ChangePassword control there with no code behind; however it is not working since it keeps giving the following error:
Password incorrect or New Password invalid. New Password length minimum: 7.
Non-alphanumeric characters required: 1.
(I've tried valid passwords)
So the question is:
does this control work with Active Directory? do I need to add code to change the password "manually"?
I tried implementing the onchangingpassword event, but I had the same result.
So now I'm using a bunch of controls (labels, textboxes and so on) and some code to connect to AD and change the password and I was wondering if this can be done with a single ChangePassword control.
