A Button and a LinkButton on the same form.

 I have a form. This form has the following controls:
LinkButton1       (runat="server" OnClick="LinkButtonChangeActiveRecord_Click")
Three TextBoxes  (with RequiredFieldValidators)
FileUpload control
Button1    (runat = "server" Onclick="AddProfile" )
I want the  RequiredFieldValidators to run only if I click on Button1, not when I click on LinkButton1.
But, actually it runs all the RequiredFieldValidatorseven if I click on LinkButton1. How do I avoid this.
