form problem

hi
 i have problem with my edit form.
i have a page for edit user forum posts.
when user want edit the yourself posts click on edit link and edit link redirect user to edit.aspx page, and edit page find user post and fill the edit boxes with database field.
when user clicked on edit button, edit button function read values from box for update user post record. but function can't read new values from boxes and page dont have an error and read previous values!
what is the problem?
