NO RESPONSE?? - Forms Authentication in ASP.NET and accessing a shared folder located on another machine

I have a ASP.NET application which has Forms Authentication.
One of the aspx pages is trying to access a file from a shared folder located on different computer and it fails because of Forms Authentication. Location tag doesn't take paths like \\machinename\DownloadFiles\ .
Is there any way that we can access files at this location which is physically located on another machine?
