Hello,
I am setting cookie in one virtual directory (VD). My website has two virtual directories. How can I access cookies set by first VD and access by another VD?
I know two ways but there is security risk:
1. Set Path="/" - This will do for me. But cookies will be accessed by any VD on server and the is risk that third VD can access my cookies
2. Set Path="/MyVD" - This will also do for me provided that my VDs start with MyVD name. But this is case-sensitive. I can not confirm that deployment team will do case-sensitive deployment. Also security risk involved in this way also.
Is there any way to set multiple paths to a Cookie? OR Is there any other way to solve my problem?
