I am trying to redirect to another web application but ASP.NET keeps making corrupted URL. Example if i am currently at "http://localhost/application1/main.aspx", when i do redirect to "http://localhost/application2/default.aspx", i get "http://server/http://server/application2/default.aspx". It is as if ASP.NET is trying to intelligently guess that i am trying to redirect to a location within the current application, but i am not. This behavior is erratic, sometimes it happens, sometimes it does not. How does one fix this?
