Please speak from personal experience..
ON a shared hosting environment
1) Can I encrypt the webconfig, then FTP the webconfig upto server
2) FTP webconfig up , then encrypt via codebehind script the parts of webconfig that matter.
3) FTP webconfig up , then encrypt but only via shared hoster admin staff doing it for me.
Fo me so far its been (3) that only can be done, should I be able to do (1) and (2) as well ???
