I have been working on an application where we need to supply a link to external clients which contains username and password details, so have gone for an encrption/decryption process to generate and then decrypt the parameters. The issue is that the URL parameters all end in the = sign which has been causing problems with a particular client as they use Lotus Notes, and the final = is being missed off when the email is being converted to plain text by notes.
The encryption being used is System.Security.Cryptography.RijndaelManaged;
