I am using the ASP.NET callback mechanism via ICallbakEventHandler and ClientScript.GetCallbackEventReference. Everything works nice unless there is a loss of connectivity (or server gets down etc.). The XMLHttpRequest.readyState is stuck at 1 and errorCallback is never called. Is there any way how to e.g. specify the request timeout? Or how can I handle this situation?
