Hi Folks,
I have a question relating to configuration management for the list. We have an external s/w vendor whom we use to supply us with our core framework of application. My in-house development team builds over this framework our own applications. The issue we have been facing is that in the last few releases, we have had to recompile our entire code base when the vendor supplied us a patch/hot fix. This is not an acceptable policy. Are there any resources, articles, practices that this list can point me towards which will help us in fixing this issue?� I know this is something we would have to train our s/w vendors with...
