Dear friends
I am using SQL Server 2005 and asp.net4.0
I have table name "emp2" whose primary key "empid"[not mentioned ]as it is auto generated
what i want to do is to put a check on Email ID {@email} so that no two users have same email id and if one is found in database the record should not insert following a return value 2 to asp.net
this thing I want at time of insert and update
