Hello, I am working on a custom Membership Provider. There is a compile error in the CreateUser function, the error is :
Value of type 'EPro.UserInformation' cannot be converted to 'System.Web.Security.MembershipUser' The EPro.UserInformation class is my custom user class.
I am modeling my code after some C# code in a book and that code will compile, the system is able to convert between those types without a problem. There are some compiler directives in the C# code, when I removed them the code still compiles.
The data context is LinqToSql and my tables are again modeled after the book with identical table names and structure.
Thank you for any suggestions as to how to fix this error.
