How to use custom membership provider and Forms Authentication in Existing user Database?
I already have a database for users. How can I take advantage of membership provider class? I really have not understood what are the advantages of using this membership provider.
Right now I am taking the username and password which the users types and then do a select statement in the user database.
Now I have to design a new app. how can i take advantage of membership provider classes and what are the advantages?
