See, Im working to generate an Excel sheet from a table in my database, the method Im applying is the one who uses a grid view like this
var aux = myrepo.PaymentsForExcel(User.Identity.Name, dtdatebefore, dtdateafter).ToList();
GridView gv = new GridView();
gv.DataSource = aux;
gv.DataBind();
Session["Excel"] = gv;
if (Session["Excel"] != null)
{
return new DownloadFileActionResult((GridView)Session["Excel"], "Payments.xls");
}
else
{
return new JavaScriptResult();
}
But, the problem is that is showing a column that I dont want, I use it to filter the data but I dont want it visible. I look for a solution and I thought that this one was
