i built a web app which uses aspnet-membership provider.
on my page i have a login status control which shows whether i am logged in or logged out.
locally everything works fine but the problem started when i uploaded my app to a production server.
The problem
Well the problem is, when i am using Internet explorer 8 and try and login into my web-app, nothing happens, the page simply refreshes after i click the login button. There is no error message, nothing, just a refresh. And the login control still displays a login link.
However when i try logging in from firefox and Google-Chrome, everything works perfectly, the login control displays a link to logout.
Can you please help me out?
