Hi,
I'm new to asp.net using c#. I have made one form for employee details. I have fields like first name, lastname, employee code, employee type, rate, hours and total.
1)I want to Auto generate the employee code from the first name and lastname.
2)on selecting employee type from the dropdown list an appropriate value like for temporary employee rate is 50 and for regular is 10. I want to display this value in rate textbox depending upon the selection from dropdownlist.
Please give me some idea how to do both the things.....
