Hi, I am looking to be able to paste a selection of data from an excel spreadsheet into a textbox, then use the .text string and convert it to a csv. Not sure if possible, however if you highlight several rows and columns, copy then paste the data into notepad, you will notice that it remains in a certain 'format'. I.e. each column appears to have a 'tab' between each column, and every row is on a new row, so I would assume that the end of a row is a carage return.
If I paste this data into a textbox, and look at the .text the 'tabs' appear to have been removed, and the carrage returns do not appear to be carrage returns. Does anyone have any experience of this? Is it possible to preserve the 'tabs', 'carrage returns' then replace them? I would really like to find a way to allow users to paste a selection of excel data into a text box and then convert to csv.
