Hi folks
This should be simple, but i can't figure it out.
I am updating a record in a database using sql statement, in asp.net VB.net
Dim sqlstr = "UPDATE books_review SET rating=rating+" & Session("average") & " WHERE ID=" & key " ""
it don't give me any error and even not doing anything, all the connection string and everything is alright as if I replaced session("average") with a constant value e.g. 1 or 2, it works fine but not with session("average"), I also know that session("average") is not equal to zero.
I thought the issue maybe because Session("average") is equal to decimal value e.g. 0.001 or 0.01, but thats not the issue either because I assigned value to session("average") manually without decimal but it still is not working..
