I have created a small shopping cart application using ASP.NET 2.0. When I run thru the VS IDE 2005 it shows up quickly.
After login the next page appears quickly and all the other functions work well.
But when I open it thru the IE and give the
path like http://localhost/newshopcart/login.aspx the login page comes. But when I input the user nm/pwd it takes a hell lot
of time to get in. Infact it never goes to next page.
What must be the reason?
I admit that I have used around 25 session
variables in my application Does that make any problem. Also at the last page where the order is made I clear all the session
values.
Also in global.asax in Session_start() i have cleared all the sessions first and also in session_end() i clear all
the sessions by using Session.abandon()/Removeall()/clear() methods. But that is not working for me.
What must be the exact
reason? Guide me to improve my web app.
