I've used the membership classes in smaller applications before and it's been great.
However, a new application is going to require more complex security then what I've done in the past.
Here are some of the requirements that deal with the security side of this new application

It's a reporting/invoicing/managing software... There will be users (the customers)The user can belong do different plants of it's companyThe user can have a different role for each plant
The role for that plant will determine what data, reports and web pages they have access to for that plantI was just wondering if there is a way to make it work with asp.net membership classes, I've done lots of brainstorming and I'm starting to feel like I need to create my own security system.
If anyone has any advice, articles or comments that might help me out, please let me know.  Ask me q ...
