Another Date/Time to string

I am trying to convert a date to string (text, not date string). The user will select a date from a calendar control say: 04/15/2009. Then they will select a second date from a second calendar control: 05/14/2009.

My job is to create a ten digit invoice number from the two dates, without the "/"s, only using the year as two digits from the second date: 0415051409 as the result.

I tried the Lset() function. It works but it includes the /'s: label2.text = Lset(Calendar1.selectedValue, 4) returns: 4/15.

Any other ideas?
