I have a user control that I have dragged onto a master page. This user control has a label in it called "lblContent". I would like to be able to use this label to not only have the usercontrol's backend code itself to fill it, but also be able to fill it from the masterpage it resides on. I cannot, however, seem to figure out the correct FindControl code for finding this label to make it available to the rest of the masterpage to use. I have seen some people saying it would be Label myLabel = (Label)UserControl_ID.FindControl("UserControlLabel"); but my Usercontrol doesn't seem to have any sort of ID assocaited with it.
