Removing query string from uri

Hi,

I am trying to remove the query string from the uri without doing a response.redirect. I have a web form which I will load two user controls to it in the page load event. The first user control called orders.ascx will load orders and the second user control, orderDetail.ascx will load the order details. However, the orderDetail.ascx will only load if there is a query string, ...aspx?OrderID=100. Also, the orders.ascx will ask user for a order date range. It works great the first time. When user chooses a row to see the order details, the orderID gets added to the query string, and the orderDetail.ascx works fine. But when users enters differnent order dates, new orders will appear in the orders.ascx, but the old order detail.ascx will appear at the bottom. I do not want it there at all. What needs to be done is to remove the query string so the order detail.ascx will not load. Thus, how do you remove the query string?
