I want to submit user input from a number of text boxes to a webpage that is ready to accept my parameters. I want to use the http POST operation but I don't know where to start. I googled quite a bit but couldn't find any examples in vb. Anyone want to give me a helping hand please?
I want to pass username and location to a url. the remote url will accept these parameters in this format:
http://www.xxx.com/send.do?username=xxxxxxx&location=yyyyyy
I've tried the following code using response.write but I really don't know what I'm doing:
Dim Recipient As String = TxtTo.Text
Dim Message As String = TxtMessage.Text
Dim httpUrl As String
httpUrl = "username=xxxxx&location=usa"
httpUrl += "&to=" + Recipient + "&message=" + Message
