Converting Date to UK Format

Hi All,


I am trying to convert SQL Server returned data which is a date to UK date format on the ASP.NET page using
<asp:Label ID="lblDOB" runat="server" Text='<%#Bind("DOB","{0:dd/MM/yyyy}")%>  ' Width="100px"></asp:Label>
But my date still displays in the yyyy/mm/dd format on the ASP.NET page.
Can anyone tell me why it is happening. I have seen many other users reported in this forum that it works for them but it doesn't for me.
